John Baldwin Elementary School

Available CEF Positions

Want to Volunteer next year?

Would you like to get involved at John Baldwin next year? Join the Cougar Education Fund Board!

We have several open Board positions and many other volunteer opportunities available for the 2017/2018 school year.

We would love to meet with any interested individuals to discuss these opportunities further. Feel free to contact Laura Glover at laura.glover3@gmail.com or Michelle Beckham at michelle.beckham@hotmail.com.

Vice President

The Vice President works closely with the President to determine the fundraising goals of Cougar Education Fund and to help plan and execute strategies to meet those goals. The Vice President adheres to the Board’s mission and helps manage the day-to-day activities of the Board. The Vice President may preside over Board meetings when the President is unavailable, as well as represent Cougar Ed Fund at leadership meetings, affiliate meetings and other events.

Spring Fundraiser Chairperson or Co-Chairs

Do you love to plan parties, organize and coordinate events? Are you creative and want to think of some new and exciting fundraising ideas for John Baldwin? We would love your help! We need a Spring Fundraiser Chairperson, or a team of Co-Chairs to spearhead our school’s Spring Fundraiser. Typically the Spring Fundraiser has been our Bid for Kids Online Auction and Live Gala Event. We would love our new Chairperson(s) to explore new opportunities, and provide a fresh perspective to achieving our fundraising goals. Maybe you think an all family Game Day would be a hit, or a Western theme Hoe Down?? The possibilities are endless! There will be many people to help, guide and train you along the way. The end result will be a truly rewarding experience. As Chair or Co-Chair, you will also be a member of the Cougar Ed Fund Board.

Grants Chairperson

A flexible job for someone who wants to get involved, but have the flexibility to work from home on their own time. The Grants Chairperson is responsible for researching grant opportunities for Cougar Education Fund, as well as for faculty and staff members. The Grants Chairperson will manage application submission dates and deadlines, as well as help with the application process when necessary. The Grants Chairperson may also write and submit Grant proposals on behalf of CEF. You will also be a member of the Cougar Ed Fund Board.
